I had almost forgotten about it, but earlier this month I went to Beijing! Of course I took some photos while over there. They’re mostly photos of the major tourist attractions as that is all we managed to see, but they still turned out quite nicely. I put the best ones up on my Beijing photos page, so have a look.
Also, today it’s Christmas! Merry Christmas to everybody who’s reading this! I know I still have a whole bunch of emails with best wishes and such to reply to, but since we have two Christmas days in the Netherlands, I can still answer them tomorrow.
Do Chinese people celebrate Christmas? Yeah, they do. Sort of. They give each others apples or oranges wrapped in fancy plastic like on this photo. Very strange people those Chinese, aren’t they?
